Tuesday Day 3 of your Bunny Buddy Eggs-travaganza :o)

The emerging flowers of spring, the warmth of the evening sun, and the playful joy of schoolchildren - these are all good reasons to love this special time of the year. Of course, these simple joys pale in comparison to the most important blessings of the Easter season - Eternal Hope, Eternal Joy, and Eternal Life.

Course we can't forget Eternal Fun. That's where I come in. :o) Today we're going to explore and celebrate the Eternal Fan part of the eternal blessings of the Easter season.

The Easter Bunny

There's a story quite funny,
About a toy bunny,
And the wonderful things she can do;
Every bright Easter morning,
Without warning,
She colors eggs, red, green, or blue.

Some she covers with spots,
Some with quaint little dots,
And some with strange mixed colors, too
-- Red and green, blue and yellow,
But each unlike his fellow
Are eggs of every hue.

And it's odd, as folks say,
That on no other day
In all of the whole year through,
Does this wonderful bunny,
So busy and funny,
Color eggs of every hue.

If this story you doubt
She will soon find you out,
And what do you think she will do?
On the next Easter morning
She'll bring you without warning,
Those eggs of every hue.

The Rhyming ABC's of Spring

A...Animals wake from a long winter's rest.
B...Birds start preparing a warm, cozy nest.
C...Colorful buds peep from the ground-
D...Daffodils, tulips, and violets abound.
E...Everything shouts, "I'm green, I'm alive!"
F...Forsythia and hyacinths are first to arrive.
G...Gardens are tilled, then carefully seeded,
H...Hoes and rakes are tools that are needed.
I...Ice has all melted, the earth's cool and wet.
J...Jackets are tossed, as warmer it gets.
K...Kids get Spring fever, they yearn to go out-
L..."Let us play longer!" they frequently shout!
M...March kites are soaring up in the sky,
N...New life has come where once plants did die.
O...Outdoors is the palce to find me and you.
P...Picnics and cookouts are fun to have, too.
Q...Quickly the days all begin to grow longer.
R...Running and playing, our bodies grow stronger.
S...Sunshine will follow the soft April showers-
T...Together, they nurture our beautiful flowers.
U...Under the sky appear signs of rebirth:
V...Vast fields of green start to cover the earth.
W...Wind in our hair, oh, how it blows!
X..."X-pressing" It's Springtime from our heads to our toes.
Y...You ask of the Springtime: "oh, please, won't you stay?"
Z...Zoom, Spring is gone-Summer's on the way!
